R P Singh, new chairman of the IIT-Guwahati Board

Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati boar, has got a new chairman R P Singh. He is the former CMD of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL).
He is also the chairman of Board of Governors of National Institute of Technology, Patna and Vice Chairman and Managing Director with Jindal Power. His term will last for three year beginning from 8 Feb, 2010.
